Here are Terms and Conditions of HermitageTheater.com

We do our best to make your purchase as easy and comfortable, as we can, so that you can get you on your way to your unique ballet and opera experience as quickly as possible.

Currency

When booking your ticket, you can choose the currency of the transaction between Rubles, Euros and U.S. Dollars. If your currency is different from these, you can also choose conversion, offered by payment provider.

Delivery

After tickets purchase they will be delivered using one of the delivery methods described below:

Electronic tickets 

On our website you can purchase e-tickets of the following types:

- e-tickets - issued during working hours - confirmation and issue of tickets can take up to 24 hours (in fact, 90% of tickets are issued within 1-2 hours after payment, and about 50% - within 15-20 minutes). After release, tickets are sent to the specified email and also become available in your personal account on the website.

- instant e-tickets - issued instantly after the payment. After release, tickets are sent to the specified email and also become available in your personal account on the website

All e-tickets are issued on time. If you have not received your e-tickets within 24 hours after payment, please contact us in any available way to get a copy of the tickets. Since we have no control over the operation of your email provider, we cannot know whether you received e-tickets or not and therefore cannot take any action in advance to avoid your non-receipt of tickets. It is your responsibility to contact us if e-tickets are not received. Our obligations to you are deemed to have been fulfilled when e-tickets are issued in our system.

Paper tickets

- Delivery to the entrance of the theater - our courier will be waiting for you near the entrance holding a sign with your name on it 30 minutes before the show. In a case you are late, he will wait for you for 5 minutes after the beginning of the performance NOTE: If you are late to the third bell, attendants of the theater may not let you enter the auditorium (or will ask you to sit in upper tier before the intermission).

- Delivery to cruise ship - our courier will be waiting for you near the exit from the Sea Port of St.Petersburg holding a sign with your name, a 90 minutes before the show. If you have ordered visa and transportation, our representative forwards you to the driver, who will take you to the entrance of the theater and back to the ship after the performance. The price of transportation is fixed and remain the same for any number of passengers.

- Postal delivery to your country - your tickets will be sent by Russian Post the next day after we receive your postal address to our email:

. Therefore, to get your tickets as soon as possible, please send us your email address immediately after booking. If you booked a few days (or weeks) ago, but did not send your mailing address - your tickets are still in our office.

 

Average time of postal delivery of tickets from St Petersburg is:

Europe - 10-14 days

Middle East - 12-14 days

North America - 14-16 days

South America - 16-20 days

Far East and Asia - 16-20 days

Australia - 24-30 days

Africa - 24-30 days

We always insure all sent letters with tickets for their full price. Not often, but sometimes tickets can be lost during mailing. If you have not receive them for more than a month or if you have a proof that they were completely lost by mistake of postal services, upon your written request we will issue new tickets for you and will send them to the same or another postal address. After two unsuccessful attempts of postal delivery we will hold tickets in our office until your arrival to St.Petersburg and then will deliver them to the hotel of your stay or to the theatre a 30 minutes before the show. It is your responsibility to contact us in advance and advice suitable method of delivery.

Errors

In an unlikely event of any errors, regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this site or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, we reserve the right to cancel error order and refund you the full amount (or offer alternatives).

Order Confirmation

If you do not receive a confirmation to your email, or if you experienced problems with connection, errors or service interruption while submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with HermitageTheater.com that everything is ok with your order. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Payment

HermitageTheater.com accepts different methods of payment. Our preferred method is PayPal. It guarantees easy and safe transactions. Using PayPal, you can pay with all the major credit-cards and choose preferred currency. You can also pay by phone, using your Visa or MasterCard.

Refunds and Exchanges

Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your date and event.
Tickets bought online can NOT be refunded or exchanged, unless the performance is cancelled or changed.
You agree that you will not attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent any refund prohibitions in any manner with regard to tickets you purchased. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you will not contact us to seek a refund or exchange from us when we are prohibited from providing one, and you will not dispute or otherwise seek a "chargeback" from the company whose credit card you used to purchase tickets from HermitageTheater.com. Should you do so, your tickets may be canceled, and we may, in its sole discretion, refuse to honor pending and future ticket purchases made from all credit card accounts or online accounts on which such chargebacks have been made, and may prohibit all persons in whose name the credit card accounts exist and any person who accesses any associated online account or credit card or who otherwise breaches this provision from using the Site.
NOTE: If you are late to the third bell, attendants of the theater may not let you enter the auditorium. Your being late to the beginning of the show and the resulting non-admission to the auditorium can not be the reason for the refund claims.
In a case of cancellation or change of performance, if we issue you a refund for a ticket, we will issue a refund of the ticket's face value paid. Delivery (mail, courier) charges or any other amounts incured (PayPal commission, taxes, etc.) can not be refunded. If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets.

Canceled and Rescheduled Events

The Administration reserves the right to substitute the performance. In such a case your tickets will still be valid for the new performance. If you do not want to attend the new performance, you are eligible for an immediate full refund, you must apply for it before the performance starts. In other case no refund is possible. Presence at the performance means acceptance of the replacement of the performance. If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. If you have your paper ticket issued, you will have to send it to us in order to get the refund. We will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled or postponed event. 

Force Majeure

If the event is canceled due to force majeure, the client will be invited to attend another or similar event on the same or different date. If attending another event is not possible, or the client refuses to visit referring to force majeure circumstances, ticket refunds due to circumstances canceled due to force majeure are carried out no more than 365 days from the date of the event. 

Service Fees, Order Processing Fees, VAT

All our prices are final and include all the taxes.

Claims

You agree that regardless of any circumstances if there are any complaints or claims, you must present them to us no later than 24 hours after the beginning of the event. If no complaints have been received from you within 24 hours after the beginning of the event, our obligations to you are considered to be completely fulfilled. After 24 hours after the beginning of the event, no complaints are accepted, no compensation is provided.

Unlawful Resale

Unlawful resale (or attempted resale), counterfeit or copy of tickets is a offense, that leads to cancellation without compensation.
